This is the location where, according to legend, Lord Parashurama killed a demon by the name of “Tunga.” The temple was built in honor of Lord Parashurama. Lord Parashurama meditated here in this place. Adi Shankaracharya is thought to have meditated at what is now known as Sopara or Nalasopara, a location close to Shuparak now called Sopara or Nalasopara.

Food & Snacks
While there are a few small eateries along the route, the prices are steep for food and snacks. There was a lot of risk and danger on this extremely adventurous journey. I advise everyone to stay away from this area when it is raining a lot. I adored it because I enjoy going to locations, and we were all relieved to have arrived.

The monsoon or post-monsoon seasons are the best times to visit because of the beautiful greenery.
Although there are jeeps that will take you inside, the return trip was unpleasant due to the large number of people and the entrance fee.
We crossed a water reservoir early in the morning while strolling in peace. Avoid visiting on weekends and after 9:00 a.m.
