It is undoubtedly a great work of period architecture, but I was a little disappointed with the visit in general (mainly because of the limited possibilities to admire the interior). Mumbai is a huge city which suffers from heavy traffic throughout the day. Its main railway station is located at a busy intersection in the very center of the city. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus is the main attraction of the historical buildings of the city. And there is still a functioning railway station. From across the street, one can admire all its unique ornaments.
